"Through design we can change stories"
Homelessness describes the condition of having nowhere to live. Homeless is someone without a place that can be called home. Home for homeless is the city. They spent their time in the street without a direction to follow in their everyday life. The city is an imaginary shelter; the pavement becomes a chair to rest or a bed to sleep.
The Homeless adapt themselves to the city configuration, becoming part of the landscape. They are one thing within the city, invisible to our eyes. We pass by homeless without taking a step back, keep walking as they are an unobserved feature of the city.As an expression of this concept, I have represented the relation and sense of belonging between homeless and the city through a topographic map.Homeless are unseen as they become a fragment of the city.
