Unspoken Revolution

"Through design we can change stories"

Concept Statement: Adelina Galateanu

how we treat

Faces of homelessness

Home: definition

“An environment providing security and happiness.”

Homeless: definition

“Person who lacks permanent housing.”

Homelessness is not just a matter of materiality; it is the absence of freedom within that could take form within the dynamic of our mind and beyond.

If we would review our “material” perception of “home” we could see that environments could refer to the city, country and planet.

Can we imagine security within large spaces or groups of people?

A person who lacks permanent housing could by definition still feel happy and secure. Is the “permanent” compulsory?

Or is the order and programming of life harming us?
